On Wednesday August 25th 2010, members of the Ottawa chapter with the collaboration of the township of Edwardsburg-Cardinal erected the commemorative and historical land plaque of the Weehawk at the Gallop Canal road in Cardinal, Ontario. The event marked the end of the multi-year project for the Ottawa chapter.
