The Goal of the Ottawa Chapter Committee of Save Ontario Shipwrecks is to promote the preservation of our local wrecks through responsible diving so that all may enjoy them. All very laudable, but we also have a lot of fun doing it through the placement of Coast Guard approved mooring buoys on unmarked wrecks, maintenance of sites and the occasional lecture.
Buoys were removed on October 12th, 2009.

The Ottawa Chapter executive wants to thank all members that have volunteered time and effort for the 2009 projects and we are looking forward to this year projects. Our primary focus will be to complete the Weehawk land Plaque project then start news projects that members have voted at the December meeting.
